Prayer-time pause

While you're watching, Ayah+ can remind you a few minutes before each prayer and pause at the next scene break — never mid-sentence.

Set it up

Go to Account → Prayer-time pause:

• Location: choose your city from the list, or select Use my location to use your device's location. Your location is rounded to about 1 km and used only to calculate prayer times.
• Calculation method: when you choose a place, Ayah+ picks the method most mosques there use (for example Dubai in the UAE, Umm al-Qura in Saudi Arabia, Karachi in Pakistan). Change it if your local mosque follows another.
• Asr time: Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) or Hanafi.
• Remind me: 5, 10 or 15 minutes before.
• Pause automatically: skip the question and pause at the next scene break.

Your settings are saved to your account, so they follow you to a new device. Turn Remind me before prayer while watching off at any time.

While watching

A reminder appears in the top corner: choose Yes, pause or Not now. When paused, you'll see today's prayer times. Select Resume when you're ready.
